what to wear: ellie goulding

If you've been reading my blog during last week then you'll have read about my free tickets to see Ellie Goulding, which i'm so excited about! I've been thinking all week that it was tonight but it actually isn't until tomorrow night. I'm hoping that it won't be called off because of the snowy weather though. I suppose would probably be for the best because i'm not looking forward to travelling in this weather on a night time, I get so paranoid about crashing but I don't think I can wait any longer. I've decided heels are a definite no with the snow too, it's just asking for a broken ankle really. I hate myself in heels though, i just don't suit them and my feet hurt so badly. I'm much more of a flats person!

I haven't been shopping in about 2 weeks or something so I haven't been able to buy anything new. I've had to have a good search through my wardrobe and pull out a few things, most of them I bought last year! I tried them on this afternoon and these two are the only two which I liked and that were sort of suitable for the coldness.  Anyway, I can't decide which to go for so I though i'd ask my lovely followers about your opinions. The first outfit, i've shown before in an outfit post but with the cream trousers instead. I prefer it with those but I thought having it tucked into the bodycon skirt with a gold belt looked a bit more 'dressy'. The flowery skirt was originally bought for my holiday ages ago from Next! Normally I wouldn't even think about buying anything from this shop but this caught my eye straight away, it's had so much wear. I still love it but I prefer it with no tights. I feel much more comfortable (and warmer) in tights though so they're going on. I haven't added the jewellery or anything to either of them yet so that should jazz them up a little but yeah, which one do you prefer?
