no way i'm turning back

Jumper H&M, Shoes Garage Shoes

An outfit post in the middle of the week, it's a miracle (and a one off)! I did cheat slightly by taking this at the weekend but you know, it's all about being organised as i've slowly learned this year. My makeup looks a little bit less than usual although I have no idea why so if I look a little dead, that's why. I'd wanted this jumper for a while but then I saw someone on Eastenders wearing it and it looked hideous so I was slightly put off but in the end I decided that hopefully it didn't look hideous on me. It looks really thick and warm but it's quite a thin crappy material. £30 from H&M too, I was shocked, definitely not the usual sort of H&M pricing. Despite all the negativity i'm saying about it I do love the colours and pattern. You can't see on the photo but I have tights on and a bodycon skirt to make sure nothing is revealed. It's very long and baggy though so the skirt isn't seen too much anyway. Quick photo of some shoes which I wear most of the time, thick heeled brogues. I prefer these much better to the normal sort of thin heeled brogue (you all know what I mean?). Black, patent leather, don't hurt your feet... can't go wrong really. And no, I don't tie the laces as you can see. They're really long and make these hideous awkwardly shaped bows.

I emailed Carly a few days about her doing a drawing of me and she emailed me back with the 4 that she'd done. They're amazing, I love them! I'm thinking about possibly making them into a blog header but I love the one that I have right now (Michelle from Daisy Butter designed it) so much that I dunno if I can get rid of it. There's two of my favourites. They were all based on the same drawing but with different colours added, lovely way of doing it I thought. Thankyou so much Carly.

I'm going to do a small photo haul tomorrow with things I bought at the weekend, nothing much though. After buying a new microphone and um'ing and ah'ing about videos I decided they weren't for me so none of those. I started using some MAC brushes this week and I can see a difference in the way my makeup goes on, especially my blush.  I've been using the angled contour brush 168 with it and it gives a much softer look, i'm no makeup guru at all but i'd definitley reccomend that brush and the 190 foundation brush. For someone like me who is very used to drugstore brushes it makes a big difference. I would love to be good with makeup but I think no matter how many Youtube videos I watch i'm never going to be great. I can do the basics though which is good enough for me on a day to day basis.

Wow, I really didn't expect this post to be so long. My fingers got a little bit carried away on the keyboard. I hope that some people will take the time to read through all this ramblings, sorry if it's a waste of 5 minutes of your time :)
