Happy 1st Birthday Classic Fashion Diary!

I'm amazed that i've been blogging for a whole year! Originally I thought the novelty would wear off and i'd become bored it but nope, one year on and I still love it! I remember how apprehensive I was about starting this blog, basically just because I was worried that people who I know would find it, which looking back is totally ridiculous! I'd been reading blogs for around 6months (or maybe even a year) before I actually started my own and then a further 6 months until I even told my best friend. I think at first the idea of people knowing made me feel embarrassed, that they'd look at my blog and automatically assume I love myself or think i'm a fashion icon because I post photos of my outfits. I'm sure a lot of people probably would, it's just total ignorance because it's something they're not familiar with and straight away judge it. Of course anyone with even the slightest open mind will realise it's nothing like that, it's just a hobby. It amazes me to think that I have 370+ people who are interested in reading about me and looking at my general life. I know that compared to so many blogs thats nothing but to me it's huge! The feeling I recieved when I had my first follower, so pathetic but I was super excited.

If you're sitting there reading blogs every day and wanting to start your own then just do it! Don't worry about people finding it and what they'll think or what they'll say to you, just be prepared that at least one person will find it but it's nothing to care about. Obviously we can all sit here and say, 'don't care about what people think of you' but to some extent we all do. I used to be the worst person ever for it, i'd be conscious that people were looking at me when they weren't, judging what i'm wearing or what makeup I have on... pathetic little things like that. I think everyone cares to some extent what people think but by at least getting over the little tiny things it makes a huge difference. It's a lot easier said than done and as i'm writing this now I can see that I should take this advice more, definite not to self there.

Don't be thinking, 'I haven't got a good enough camera, no-one will like my style, I wouldn't know what to write, no-one will be interested'. There's no rules saying you have to have this or you have to write in a certain way with a specific style. Basically just don't hold back on starting a blog if you want to, I promise you'll love it!
