wednesdays Lookbook

Hello lovelies. Little panic there where I tried to upload this photo and it said 'server rejected' but it's all fine, a second try did the job. It really seems like just yesterday that it was last Wednesday and I was doing this post, the days go so quickly! I find myself mentioning that every week but I just can't help myself. I try and write this in the way I would say it and I have a habit of repeating myself sometimes when I talk so it can't be helped on here either.

I love the cute polka dot blouse in the first photo, the colours for it are perfect. Red isn't a colour I really wear very much which might have to change! Some hight waisted corde (I never know how to spell that word but you know what I mean) shorts which I also love. I tried some on in Zara not that long ago and they just didn't look right on me which was so disappointing.

The second photo is one of those sort of looks which I don't think you see a lot of on Lookbook. The little tie around the neck is such a little thing but it looks so good. Fur hats making an appearance once again, I'm determined to persuade myself into buying one of these. I know lily from LLYMLRS says 'there's a certain Lookbook look' and that is so true! To be successful on Lookbook there's a certain sort of clothing and style which you have to have. I think a lot of the outfits on Lookbook arn't the usual day to day outfits which most of us wear, with this exception to this one! She just reminds me of any normal girl, in normal clothes going shopping at town. It's so refreshing to see this on Lookbook rather than the professional photography of clothes we wouldn't wear and things. Anyone agree with that?

Those of you who have emailed me and bought the Links of London bracelets and Alexander McQueen scarfs then a big thankyou! They'll be with you very soon. I'd love to sort of throw in a freebie into each package as a little extra thankyou, definitley something i'm gonna have a think about. Keep checking the shop though, new things should be added all the time. I've made a little link box thing in the sidebar of my blog but it's just a temporary until I do a proper one. Hope you're all having a lovely week.

Love both looks and I know what you mean about try-hard looks on Lookbook. I think it's great that people make effort but it's also comforting to know that when you're at home, it's alright to stay in your PJs all day or wear a 'boring' outfit - like me today!

Great post :)

totally agree with the whole 'lookbook look' thing.
i used to use lookbook for inspiration all the time but recently i've found myself turning to bloggers who post more realistic pics of day-to-day outfits!
