Photo was taken at my Nannas hence the Grandad type hairsprays!
#1: Mothers day today obviously, I hope you girls have all spoilt your mums rotten! I love mine to pieces and I think it's pretty much the only day of the year when they realise just how much they're actually appreciated. Every year a few tears happen because she's so touched, bless her! What did you all buy your mums?
#2: A huuuuge thankyou to the lovely comments you all left me on my last post about high end makeup. I was really cautious about posting it incase it was perceived in the wrong way but luckily I got some really supportive comments. I know some of you probably disagreed with what I said (even though you didn't leave a horrid anon comment letting me know which was kind) but we can't all agree on everything. I've replied to a few of them and definitley had a look back at all your blogs (followed a few that were new to me aswell as finding some fellow geordies) .
#3: A bit of a favour to ask you all aswell. I'm running out of inspiration for posts and sick of the same old outfit posts (sorry for the fact they're not very regular atm too) so I wondered what you would like to see. Reviews? What makeup I use? Week in photos which I used to do? Wishlists? Favourite bloggers? Please don't request videos as the quality of sound is just terrible and i'm slightly awkward infront of a video camera. Just anything, i'm open to new ideas so just let me know in the comments. Or equally, tell me what you don't like reading as much. I won't be offended I promise :)
#4: Have any of you tried the Babyliss conical wand? I've had a look at a few review but they all seem to be very mixed with the opinions so any comments telling me what you think would be much appreciated! This is one of my favorite things about blogging actually, the amount of reviews and advice you can get is so helpful and prevents a lot of money wasting. There was something else that I wanted opinions on too but i've totally forgotten, argh so annoying. |

You look LOVELY, your hair looks great! Hope you had a nice day with your mum! Can't say i've tried the Babyliss conical wand, sorrrry! xx
your hair looks fab as always :)
i have a babyliss conical wand, its really good, no complaints really :) xxx
I've tried the Babyliss wand and it's alright. Sometimes it makes a nice curl and at other times it just makes my hair go a wavy. Love your blog and totally agree with your last post :)
Bless your mum crying! Glad she had such a lovely day.
I haven't tried Babyliss conical wand but I have a 'Herstyle Babycurl' wand which is actually my baby. It's lasted me for about 5 years now and my curls stay in for days once I've used it. Bit pricey but worth it - might be cheaper now though, since it was so long ago when I got them.
Very pretty picture :)

You are actually so pretty Ashleigh :) And I love wishlists and favourite bloggers really! I know you said not to, BUT I'd love to see you in a video! :)Haha, I'm horribly awkward in mine, but I still do them! So video's as well, hehe. So true about #4, since I started blogging I've gotten so many tips, and been inspired to do so much DIY stuff. xxx
Get the babyliss large barelled tongs from Sally's- way better for curls than a conical wand xxx
