Top Primark, Necklace Ebay, Jeans Topshop (Not sure why they look so wrinkly on the 2nd photo)
An outfit post on a Thursday? Very rare for me I know but the lighting was still pretty decent (huge love for summer nights) so I decided to take a few photos before heading out for tea (dinner to most of you apart from us geordies?). Turns out the lighting wasn't as good as i'd thought once I looked at them on my laptop so i've upped the brightness slightly, what would we do without editing?
So obviously the whole 'colour blocking' thing is a huge trend this season and up to now I hadn't really bothered with it until I saw this top. Initially I looked at it with the thought of 'hm i'm not too keen on that but it'll be fine for during the day on holiday with a pair of shorts or something'. Tried it on properly when i got home however and it looked like a whole new top entirely. I saw Barbara mention it in a video yesterday and she referred to it as being something which reminded her of Zara, I hadn't thought of it like that but I can definitley see what she means. I might be wrong but i'm sure i've seen a top very similar in there before, or perhaps it's just the colours that remind me of it. I do love it though, it looks a lot better than I first thought plus the price is just a steal; £4. When I find gems like this in good old Primark I remember why it's such a good shop!
A giveaway is on it's way I promise, just finding the time to buy the things which is delaying it. I'm not someone who wants to hold giveaways all the time simply to gain new followers. Surely they're a way to say thankyou for the followers you do have and not to just bribe people to follow? Personally I want a group of followers who chose to follow my blog rather than following because there was a chance of getting some free stuff. Besides, blogging isn't all about the number on that followers bar. Rant over. |

That's such a nice top. If I'd have seen that on a hanger I'd probably be a bit "eurgh orange and pink" - but it looks so gorgeous on you!

Love the top, i'm not really a fan of the colour blocking trend, but i think it's about as far as i would go with it myself! Love how you've styled it :)

Love the top, I've seen similar ones in New Look as well for about a tenner I think, so you grabbed a bargain!
I totally agree with you about the giveaway thing, it seems people do it to gain followers rather than saying thank you to the actual readers of the blog, its silly!
