sunday #35

#1: Old news to everyone I know but I genuinely can't believe Amy Winehouse is dead. To be fair I wasn't her biggest fan in the first place but admittedly she was a very talented lady (if her behavior really allows her to be called a lady haha?). I feel so sorry for her parents though, only 27 years old. Always pretty obvious that she wouldn't make it past 30 in a way though, the way she treated her body was pretty ridiculous. Just shows, drugs are a serious path to death.

#2: Booked tickets to see The Wanted on Friday, I love them (and not only for their voices!). So so excited for that even though it isn't until February. :(

#3: This time next week i'll be going on holiday, yaaaaay. Feel so un-prepared for it, I don't have all my outfits or anything and nothing in the shops is catching my eyes. They're already getting autumn stuff in which is so tempting but no, must resist and remember it's still August. Obviously I won't be blogging for the 10 days i'm away but when I get back i'm gonna do a post each day for 11 days showing all my night time outfits. I might do some sort of post based on what i'm packing before I go but who knows. Also, if anyone knows of any good waterproof mascaras let me know, yes i'm one of those people who wear makeup during the day on holiday. I think feeling good about yourself is a huge part of enjoying your holiday. If you feel self conscious all day about how you look it's gonna be impossible to enjoy yourself so yes some of you might be like 'WHAT, why would you wear makeup to sunbathe' but it's a very personal preference thing I think.

#4: I found a new Youtube channel  last night and i've watched almost every single one of her videos since then. She has a really touching video about her illnesses too so check out her channel for that and the rest of her videos. It's based on beauty, fashion, hausl etc. 


#5: I ordered some hair extensions earlier in the week so that when I curl my hair it can be long. I've always hated extenions on 90% of girls who wear them but sometimes they do look good, when the colour is right and they blend in well. Unfortunately, mine didn't match at all so i've sent them back to get an exchange and with a little bit of luck the new ones will match, although i'm not very hopeful considering they're off the internet so it's extremely hard to colour match.
