patent moccasins

Newlook £17

I'm not a shoe person at all you could give me £1000 and I probably wouldn't spend a penny of it on shoes. They say everyones either a shoe or bag person, in all honesty i'm neither i'd say i'm totally for clothes but given the choice definitley bags. So anyway, it's very rare that I buy new shoes as I just don't think they add that much to an outfit. I'm more than happy to just rotate around 2 or 3 pairs for a while until i'll buy some new ones. I know a lot of people are prepared to spend over £70 on a pair of shoes which to me i'd rather spend the money on clothes, apart from my Uggs which I lived in when I got them a few winters ago, i've probably never spent more than £40 on a pair of shoes.

Mini rant about shoes over and I thought i'd shoe show you these patent moccasins which I bought from Newlook last weekend. I think they're really cute and simple to go with a lot of outfits, they're not the most comfortable but then again Newlook shoes never are in my experience, hopefully once they're worn in they should be fine. Originally I wanted these ones, very vintage granny style loafers but they didn't have my size so I settled for these. I'm kinda pleased in a way, I think i'll wear these a lot more although I do love the others :(

They're stunning! I think I friend bought those but in brown or a dark burgundy. I have some suade moccasins I got from New Look a while ago and they can still rub me, but I discovered it was the way the shoea are made - the back bit of the shoe digs into the back of my ankle because it's so hard. I still love'em though!

...nice pun with the shoe/w too :P ha
