MAC False Lashes £17.50
As far as i'm aware I think MAC have a pretty rubbish reputation for the quality of their mascaras, I could be wrong so don't quote me on it, and it's because of that which has always put me off buying one. I recently went for one of their makeovers and the MUA used their new False Lashes mascara on me. I was so impressed, by far the best my lashes had ever looked and I can honestly say that I was convinced about the whole 'false lashes' claim, it definitley worked!
I purchased the mascara and have been using if for around 2 weeks, it's fair to say that it doesn't seem as great anymore. Don't get me wrong, it is a good mascara, just nothing exceptional and certainly not how it looked on the makeover. I'm not sure whether it was the way the girl applied it or maybe I was just fooled into believing it looked good, either way it's a totally different story at home. I'm not saying that it isn't a good mascara, it's basically the same as several drugstore mascaras i've tried, infact i'd probably say my previous one (Loreal Voluminous) is much better. It is however true black, pigmented and generally doesn't smudge or move much. The brush is quite standard, nothing special but does the job kind of thing. I'd say it gives a mixture of volume and legnth, just nothing too extreme.Personally I like my lashes to be quite clumpy and very voluminous so for me, it isn't a great product. It works quite well with others layered but on it's own, it's just average.

I completely agree on this :)! My mum has this, and I always steal it and It's really nothing special! I find it clumps on my lashes loads as well!
Shope X
I always find my cheaper drugstore mascaras work just as well, if not better, than higher end ones. I've never been particularly impressed by the chanel ones either bust have still been fooled into buying them. Xoxo
I think it's such a shame MAC don't do better mascaras considering their rep!
