Top Topshop, Shorts Topshop, Watch Asda Living, Ring Topshop Definitley an overdue outfit post! I've wanted these leather shorts for absoloutley ages and finally Santa treated me to them for Christmas which was just in time as they're sold out now. I wasn't sure if i'd really wear them that much when I got them but i've worn them with so many things, makes a nice change to not have trousers on so much (especially my beloved cream ones). I got the top for Christmas aswell, another floral thing to add my many. I hate the style of these tops though, the cropped sort of thing they have I find only looks right on me when it's tucked into something high waisted. I know it's 'all part of fashion' and part of the style but i'm not a lover of it unless disguised in something like these shorts. Finally decided i'm gonna ombre my hair next weekend. A little bit late (or more like a whole year late) but better late than never. I've been considering it for so long but I wasn't sure it would look right on straight sort of hair, if it doesn't then I can always dye it back brown. It says on the back on the box that the developing time is 20-95 minutes and I was like 'leaving bleach on for 90 minutes, my hair will fall out!' but I assume that's just for maximum results or something? I'm not expert with hair dye (never dyed my hair before) but i'm assuming that 20 minutes will be enough, if anyone has a little more experince with hair dye or ombreing then let me know how long you'd reccomend. I had an email from another blogger earlier this week asking me to answer a few questions to help her with her dissertation. I actually felt so honoured which I know might sound a bit stupid but yeah, made me feel like some sort of popular blogger (which obviously i'm not). Reached 150 followers this week which I was so pleased with, hopefully 200 won't be long off! I know blogging isn't about getting followers but surely no one can deny that it does make you feel a lot better knowing people are actually reading the rubbish I write. I've said it since 100 but I really must get a giveaway organised soon. The title is from a song which i've been addicted to this week, Eliza Doolittle MoneyBox. |

aww yes ombre would look amaze on your hair! i wish i could do it on mine... but it's so short, i've only really got a fringe to do it on!
i dye my own hair, it says up to 90mins on the stuff i use - it just depends how dark (or equally, light) your hair is really and how easily the colour takes.
i usually go for about half hour/40mins but that's bleach on strawberry blonde hair.

Really love the shorts! I think you'd look nice with ombre hair. I don't know if it's just my screen or not but your hair in these photos looks a bit like it's ombre-d darker! x

I know what you mean about cropped tops, I always feel a bit silly in them unless I tuck them in. Maybe if i had a six pack I might feel differently haha!
Good luck with the ombre, I think it will really suit you. Your much braver than me! Ive never dyed my hair before, too much of a wimp!
