Dress Topshop, Belt Primark This is the floral dress what I mentioned in another post (I think I mentioned it anyway). I love anything floral, especially in the summer time. I wish this dress had little sleeves or something, I hate having my shoulders out it feels so bare but I loved the dress too much to care. Obviously I did wear a coat as it's raining but it looked rubbish on the photos. I always think coats spoil an outfit, they look so much better without sometimes. Excuse my chipped nails too! I'll probably skip my Sunday post or at least skip the photo of me while I have this hair. |

try using the toner first before you dye it brown again. It's worth a try.
When i first ombre-d my hair it kinda went a gingery-blonde, but i'm putting it down to the fact i applied the dye about 3/4 times. Like i'd put it on, wait then wash it out & dry my hair and repeat instead of leaving it on for a long period of time.

Lovely dress! If you are looking for a toner I would recommend La Richie, Diections white hair toner. It worked wonders for me when I had blonde hair :) If you are going to dye it brown though, get a warm brown colour, a golden brown/caramel one with reddish undertones rather than an ashy brown colour as it will react with the bleach on your hair and could turn it a green/grey colour :S

it doesnt look too bad! i think you should try and keep the ombre rather than go back block brown. try and toner it but do it so you put loads of toner at the top and less at the bottom so you get a faded colour, then maybe try it again and put more on the bottom than the top so it looks more naturally faded.

The hair isn't too bad, but I'd try a toner for sure. You will find it fades fast though I'm sure. I think because it looks like a rather straight line between brown & blonde makes it look more 'wow' too

I did this to my hair and the exact same thing happened! i died over mine with brown but because it was bleach it faded into a lighter brown. it looks really nice though and i much prefer my now subtle ombre! so if that's what you're looking for at all i'd suggest that if not you're probably worth making an appointment at a hairdressers :) xxx
You can either try and put a toner on it or because its got the orangy undertones you can get an ash blonde which is a cool colour instead of like a golden which is warm and put that over it and it should counteract the orange tones. What did you use on your hair to do it? Then I could help you properly! Im a hairdresser btw :) xx

dont worry, thats kinda what happened to me i felt like it went too solid into it and mind came out exactly like yours so i decided to die it brown but not as long as it tells you so its kinda a lighter brown then i decided to get aanother bleaching kit to just do the tips and now im sort of happy with it. it doesnt look bad though xx
I'd go for using a toner first, as Louise said.
I had once bleached the ends of my hair and dyed them blue. Once the blue dye ran out it faded back to blonde. Eventually i used permanent brown to cover the blonde tips :)

Ahh I think your hair looks really good! Definitely try a toner though if your not happy with it, because your hair looks quite light anyway so should work a treat! If your wanting to die it brown, you'll need to wash it a good few times & then get a colour that has red in it, like an ash brown or else it might go a bit green tinted. Lovely blog btw :) x

Aw, I don't think it looks too bad! But if you really hate it, definitely try a toner on your hair. If you still don't like it, then you could always just dye it back!
