So much for my whole 'i'm gonna blog more this week' mention in my Sunday post, i've done the complete opposite! I'm gonna make my hair disaster an excuse (pathetic one I know) as taking photos with it is just a no no. Pretty average week so far, the usual school and things. Loads of revision for exams which i'll make a start on soon hopefully! Really really annoying comment on my blog this week too. It said something along the lines of, 'I love your blog... follow me and then i'll follow you back" I mean seriously, what is that? A form of bribing? I read it, re-read it because I thought I was seeing things and then laughed. I've seen many desperate follower comments (even left a few myself in my first few weeks of blogging, shameful) but that one was a whole new thing. I don't know if it was intended in that sort of way but I can't really see any other way in which it could have been meant? Total case of desperation. And also, I definitely didn't follow her. Anyone else had one of those sort of comments before or any other funny ones? Anyway, onto the review if I haven't bored you to death already with my moaning. I bought this product quite a while ago and it's still 70% full which has got to say something. The first thing I ever bought from the Lee Stratfod range was the dry shampoo, at some ridiculous price of £6 or something when Batiste has now brought one out for £1.99 but it was really really good. I wrongly assumed that because that worked well maybe the whole range would. I'd been looking for something for ages that would keep my hair straight and protect it from humidity and frizzing so my day was made when I saw this. I can't really remember how much it was. Somewhere in the £6-£8 margin, I think. It's terrible, absolutely useless. Not only does it not do what it claims but it makes your hair feel disgusting. Even spraying a tiny bit on made my hair look really greasy and flat. As for the whole 'protecting it from humidity and keeping it straight' load of rubbish. Overall, i'd really advise you didn't buy this product. Obviously for some people it might work but I can only talk about the effect it had on my hair. |
