It feels like years ago since my last post, it's strange how easy it is to actually miss blogging. I recieved this lovely hamper sort of thing full of Soap & Glory products which i've been meaning to review since boxing day! I've always wanted to try some of their things, mainly becuase the packing is so cute but i've heard lots of good things about them. I'm gonna do it in two posts just becuase blogger is being awrkward and only letting me upload so many photos for some reason.
Photo 2 L-R: Face scrub, Shampoo, Bodywash. The face scrub which is specially for your T-Zone area is okay, around average really. My pores arn't really that large anyway so I can't really put it to the test on it's claim to make them appear smaller but it does leave your skin feeling really re-freshed. I'm not sure if it's the minty sort of smell tricking my mind into thinking it's refreshed my skin but it does leave it feeling nice. I doubt i'd go and buy it after this one though.
I had really high expectations for the shampoos after i'd heard so many good things about it but again, i'd say it's about average. It has an amazing smell but it didn't really last on my hair once it was dry. The lather isn't great either so I had to use a bit more than I usually would with other shampoos. It does what a shampoo should do but no better than any other. There wasn't any shine or anything great about my hair afterwards like it claimed. I think it's around £5 or sometihng, and for that i'd much rather buy someting like 'Aussie'.
Ah the bodywash, I love this! I'd definitley buy it again. It says that it has a 2 in 1 bodywash mixed with body moisturieriser and it's really noticable. Straight away when you're using it you can feel the moisuriser in it and the lather is pretty good. I love the sort of pump it has, it seems to make it last a really long time (i've used it for quite a few days and it's hardly going down!). £5 to buy and definitley worth it.
Photo 3: Flake away leg scrub is literally the best body scrub ever. It actually feels like it's taking half of your skin off which dosn't sound like a good thing I know but it leaves your skin feeling amazing. It's quite rough when you're using it but surely that's a good sign when it's job is to remove dry skin. It's meant for legs only but i've used it on the rest of my body and it's been fine. Could have a better smell but never mind. Really worth the money as a tiny bit goes such a long way.
Righteous body butter, this stuff smells good enough to eat! Such a thick cream, definitley does it's job to moisturise the skin. I didn't really bother with any sort of skincare before this kit but I can see the difference in how soft my skin is with this. It will last for ages but when it does finally run out I probably will re-purchase. |
